Inviting Members

Add team members to collaborate.

Sending Invites#

To invite someone to your team:

  1. Go to Teams in the sidebar
  2. Select your team
  3. Click Invite Member
  4. Enter their email address
  5. Select a role (Owner, Manager, or Member)
  6. Click Send Invite

The person will receive an email with a link to join your team.

Pending Invites

View and manage pending invitations from the team settings. You can:

  • Resend an invite if they didn't receive it
  • Cancel an invite if sent by mistake
  • See when the invite was sent

Accepting Invites#

When someone receives an invitation:

  1. They click the link in the invitation email
  2. If they don't have a SlyDuck account, they'll create one
  3. They're automatically added to the team

Invite Expiry

Invitation links expire after 7 days. If the invite expires, you'll need to send a new one.

Managing Members#

As an Owner or Manager, you can manage team members:

  • Change Role: Promote or demote members
  • Remove Member: Remove someone from the team
  • Transfer Ownership: Make someone else the Owner

Removing Members

When you remove a member:

  • They immediately lose access to all team projects
  • Their personal projects are unaffected
  • You can re-invite them later if needed

Member Pricing#

Team members are billed separately from projects:

  • First member: Free (that's you, the owner)
  • Additional members: $5/month per member

This is separate from project pricing. You can have many team members and many projects — each is billed independently.

Billing

Adding team members will increase your monthly bill. You'll be charged for each additional member on your next billing cycle.
