Quick Start Guide

Get up and running with SlyDuck in under 5 minutes.

Welcome to SlyDuck#

SlyDuck is your all-in-one dashboard for monitoring, backing up, and optimizing your web projects. Track uptime, scan for SEO issues, analyze performance, manage dependencies, and generate reports — all from one place.

What You'll Need

A website URL to monitor, and optionally a GitHub repository for backups and dependency scanning.

Create Your Account#

  1. Go to app.slyduck.com
  2. Click Sign Up
  3. Sign in with Google or create an account with email
  4. You'll land on your dashboard

Add Your First Project#

  1. Click Add Project on the dashboard
  2. Enter your project name
  3. Enter your website URL (e.g., https://mysite.com)
  4. Click Create Project

SlyDuck immediately starts monitoring your site for uptime and captures a screenshot.

Connect GitHub#

To enable backups and dependency scanning, connect your GitHub repository:

  1. Go to your project's Settings tab
  2. Click Connect GitHub
  3. Authorize SlyDuck in the GitHub popup
  4. Select your repository and branch

GitHub Benefits

Once connected, SlyDuck will automatically back up your code and scan for outdated dependencies.
