Docs/Activity/Exporting Activity Data

Exporting Activity Data

Export activity logs for auditing.

Export Options#

Export your activity data in multiple formats:

  • CSV: Spreadsheet format for Excel or Google Sheets
  • JSON: Structured data for programmatic processing
  • PDF: Formatted report for documentation

How to Export

  1. Go to the Activity tab (project or global)
  2. Apply any filters you want
  3. Click the Export button
  4. Choose your format
  5. Download the file

Filtered Exports

Exports respect your current filters. If you've filtered to show only uptime events, the export will contain only uptime events.

Advanced Filters#

Use advanced filters for precise exports:

  • Date Range: Export activity from a specific period
  • Event Types: Include only certain event types
  • Projects: Filter to specific projects (global feed only)

Date Range Selection

  • Last 24 hours
  • Last 7 days
  • Last 30 days
  • Last 90 days
  • Custom range (pick start and end dates)

Common Use Cases#

Compliance Auditing

Export all activity for a date range to demonstrate monitoring and maintenance activities for compliance requirements.

Client Reporting

Export activity filtered to a specific project to show clients what work has been done on their site.

Incident Investigation

Export activity around a specific date to investigate what happened before, during, and after an incident.

Regular Exports

For compliance purposes, consider setting up a monthly routine to export and archive your activity data.
